Quick Cap

To say Utah dominated Georgia Tech in the 2005 Emerald Bowl would be an understatement. Utah held the lead for the entire game and never let up, shutting the Yellow Jackets out in the second half. Utah also exhausted Tech's vaunted D, racking up 550 total yards and giving the Jackets its worst bowl loss in program history. The Utes won 38-10.

Utes look good in first practice of the spring.

The lack of updates pretty much center around the fact there hasn't been much to update about. But luckily for Ute fans, spring practice kicked off Saturday. I wasn't able to attend, but there was some great coverage by the two local papers and from all accounts, the practice rocked.

It seems Grady has replaced his arm with a rocket launcher, that can only explain the way he throws the football. It's going to be interesting to see if either Grady or Ratliff can distance themselves in the spring. Whittingham has said that they won't have QB chosen by the end of spring, so we won't know who'll lead the Utes until later in the summer.
